Wise Wonder POLICIES

GENERAL POLICIES

REFUND POLICY

We believe wholeheartedly that students of all learning backgrounds will enjoy and benefit from the consistency of the Wise Wonder experience. Due to our small group nature, our classes and programs are nonrefundable. Should you move out of town, you will be required to present proof of a new address and your remaining balance will be refunded.

MAKE-UP POLICY

We believe that consistency is key when it comes to learning and love welcoming your little ones to Wise Wonder each week. Wise Wonder offers ONE make-up class per semester due to illness, vacation, or personal day off, no exceptions will be made. Please let us know at least 24 hours before the class when your child is unable to attend. Due to the nature of our classes and the structure of our curriculum, this will allow us to prepare and adjust materials for that particular session properly. Make-up classes are only offered during makeup week which is the week after the last day of the spring semester. If you’re unable to attend your makeup during that week, a credit will be issued instead. Credits are also available in lieu of a make-up class and are good for one year. Credits can be applied only to summer, full-year, or semester enrollment or can be transferred to a sibling.

DISMISSAL POLICY

We do our best to ensure that every student and caregiver has the best possible experience while enrolled at Wise Wonder Enrichment.  We encourage open dialogue between teachers and parents so that everyone is aware of any problems or concerns that may arise.  However, if a student displays behavior that is disruptive to the classroom environment and we are not able to find an appropriate solution that benefits child, parent, and staff alike, Wise Wonder reserves the right to dismiss the student and/or terminate enrollment at that time.  In such cases, we will provide a refund for all classes remaining in the school year.

CANCELATION POLICY

On occasion, Wise Wonder may need to cancel a class due to inclement weather, teacher illness, or circumstances beyond our control. In such instances, we will inform parents as far in advance as possible. Make-ups for these instances will be scheduled by the director personally.

CLASS ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL POLICY

  • Classes will begin promptly at the start time.  If you arrive later than 10 minutes, you will need to wait until the class transitions to the next activity.  If you arrive more than 35 minutes late, you will not be allowed to participate in the class.
  • Students should be picked up promptly at the dismissal time of the class in order to avoid a late pickup charge.
  • Our living room area will open up only 10 minutes before class begins.

Our Kindness Commitment

At Wise Wonder, respect and kindness create the best learning environment. When families, staff, and students treat each other with care, we build a positive community where every child thrives. As part of our commitment, we encourage all to uphold these values.

Kindness to Other Parents

We are all on this journey together! Every family has different experiences and challenges. Let’s support one another with encouragement, patience, and a sense of community. A smile or kind word can make everyone feel valued and included.

Kindness to Our Staff

Our team is here to support your child’s learning. Treating staff with respect and appreciation helps create a positive environment. A simple "thank you" or patience during busy times goes a long way in ensuring the best experience for all.

Kindness to Other Children

Every child deserves to feel safe, included, and encouraged. Parents can model kindness by reinforcing empathy, celebrating differences, and resolving conflicts respectfully. When we lift each other up, we create a warm and welcoming space for all!
